In this typing game, its your job to keep on selling new and revolutionary products on TV. Keep your viewers retention by never stopping to spur out words. The better your words, the faster your product gets sold. If you lose your audiences retention, your show will be discontinued, so keep the grind up.
The game is entirely in german, as it is based on a customized german dictionary.
You can download YES SHOPPING from itch.io.
The game was made in a 48-hour timeframe as part of the MMarmelade-GameJam at our university with the theme lost signal. We were a team of five people, 4 devs, one artist, everyone helping a bit everywhere.
Read MoreThe second day of the Jam was mainly used for creating the images and visual effects we later used in the game. While some of our teammembers took care of the photos, I was mostly stuck in Unity, creating the prefabs and logic for the sprite-swapping based on certain inputs and the display of the written characters in the red bar. If you want to know more about how the assets were created, you can look it up in the read more section.
