Development

YES SHOPPING is a German typing game about selling questionable TV products before the audience loses interest. The better your words and the faster you type, the faster the product gets sold. You can download YES SHOPPING from itch.io.

Changing the Input Early

The game was made in 48 hours for the MMarmelade Game Jam with the theme "Lost Signal". We first wanted to use voice input, but typing was much more predictable and therefore much easier to finish in time.

Implementing the TV Host

My main work was in Unity, where I created prefabs and logic for sprite swapping based on input. I also implemented the display of the written characters in the red bar.
